Friday Fun – Soup Toys

T.G.I.F.

The end of another week has finally arrived and it’s time to take a break from all the headaches and problems of the past 7 days.

Soup Toys is a collection of more than 100 different toys for your Windows desktop and the latest version is completely free. Designed with players aged 5 to 12 in mind, but enjoyed globally by everyone, this physics sandbox game replicates a child’s wooden toy box full of toys, including basketballs, robots, wooden blocks, snowmen, cannons, flying bees and a pirate ship. With its open-ended design, the possibilities are endless and players are limited only by their imagination.

Great for your kids and grandkids, but you may just want to play some of these yourself when they aren’t around. ;-)

Just a little something to help brighten your weekend and maybe put a little smile on your face to boot!

Smile! It’s Friday!

Friday Fun – Speechable, In Pic Balloon Captions

T.G.I.F.

The end of another week has finally arrived and it’s time to take a break from all the headaches and problems of the past 7 days.

Speechable, How Many Words are Your Picutres Worth?

Here is on I made in less than a minute using my “Dead Joe” picture from last Halloween.

It took longer to think of what to put IN the balloon than to actually MAKE the balloon.

Just a little something to help brighten your weekend and maybe put a little smile on your face to boot!

Smile! It’s Friday!

This Weeks Useful Tool for Computer Users – Fitxit Center Online

happyscreen.JPGI come across quite a few programs, applications and features almost every day in the course of normal work-a-day research trying to find the right tools to use in the Computer Consulting Business.

As a result, I often find some little known Free Downloadable or Online Features that could be of use to almost anyone to make their computing experience a little bit better and more productive.

This is just such a find…

Fix It Center Online by Microsoft is a useful tool to find problems with your PC that you may not even be aware of, even if you do maintainence on a regular basis.

It will find hardware and software problems (like drivers) on your system and fix them automatically in a couple of clicks. You can even run it on multiple computers on one account, just in case you are the one who takes care of all the PC’s in your domain.

You need a Windows Live or Hotmail account to use the service but you can use the same account for all the computers you service. You can also track what, when and what fixes were performed for all the computers on the one account.

Worked really well in my testing so far and I recommend it to anyone who uses Windows as an Operating System, especially if they maintain more than one computer.
