A Little Background

picture-3.jpg My name is Joe Hauckes and I am the writer, editor and publisher of the Working at Home on the Internet Blog, Joe’s Freeware Finds and the Working at Home on the Internet Web Page (and now My Computer Back in Service).

Online Experience

Since October of 2005, I have been learning and writing on/blogging about my experiences starting, running and making a profit on the Internet. Along the way I learned quite a bit about how to integrate various programs for Internet use. I experimented with many Website and Blogging platforms, various browsers and web servers and learned how to adapt them to my needs.

I have also done many Personal Computer hardware and software installations, both Onsite and Remotely. Which is great experience for helping adapt hardware and software to your needs and helping solve your computer problems. I truly enjoy problem solving, believe it or not it’s fun for me; I like helping folks out.

Although I worked in the computer industry for 10 years, eventually managing an Auto-Dialer Unit with 75 persons on the phones; and despite the fact that I integrated 2 Main Frame Computers with the Auto-Dialer and handled all reporting on unit activity and productivity – I am a regular guy; I speak in your language, I go at your pace, and I don’t get frustrated easily – not like a techie who gets upset when you don’t know the correct term for some fancy piece of software.

**I have been using a program called Crossloop to access PC’s over an Internet connection remotely, so I don’t have to come to your location to fix your computer. I can, but this program makes problem solving much faster. It is a very secure installation that can be easily downloaded and installed by anyone who has even limited experience.

From there, the client has to give me a secure password, which is encrypted and changes with every session. There is no way to access your computer without your knowledge and permission.

I appreciate you taking the time to visit, and hope you enjoy your stay. Look around, there are a lot of interesting posts for you to read and information for you to take with you. I’ve put some of my quick fixes and computer tips on the blog, along with links to my other blogs, and those of others you might find useful.
