How often do you see a color you want to use on your website or blog or maybe even for some printed material like your Business Cards? You can see it on your computer screen, but can only tell it’s some kind of Blue or Red but have no idea how to convert that into a numeric format that is usable.

    Enter ColorPix

ColorPix is a small (605kb) Windows application that is easy to use, just move your mouse over the screen and the numeric values of the colors will show in the sidebar. You can even Zoom the screen to make sure you are on the exact spot you want to see.

This is a Free application, but Color Schemer has other, more complex color coders for the more advanced designers and webmasters for the Pro (to buy) Apps.

I hope you find this tool to be something useful in your daily computing experience.
